 | About Jaco Mellet I am 16 years old and an aspiring teen writer who currently resides in South Africa. I love to write, even though I don't get as much writing done as I'd like to. I have been writing fiction ever since I was capable of holding a pen and wrote my first novel (which kinda sucked) when I was 12 (a whopping 54k). Since then I haven't tried writing another novel, mainly because no one believed in me. On the 23rd of September 2009 (5 days before my 16th birthday) an idea struck me for my current WIP (work in progress) and I wasn't going to let ANYTHING stop me from writing and living out my dream. I mainly write Epic Fantasy, but since this is my first official "real" novel, this is also the only kind of genre I have written anything in.

My ultimate dream is to become a world renowned author and to make a living out of my writing from an early age, though it proves to be a much tougher feat than I had originally expected.
